A patch of significant bushland occupies part of the Seaford North Primary School grounds. Grade 5 and 6 students worked in teams to map the area and explore what makes it special. Over three sessions they developed ideas for an outdoor classroom, picnic area, walking track, and entrance gate, which they presented to their peers and the school board.

The students developed a variety of skills related to learning curriculum. They also developed soft skills such as teamwork, presentation and giving feedback.
