Collaboration with Rosemary Korawali, 2008
In Puamu in Morobe Province, villagers identified sanitation as a key issue facing the newly established village. Teams of architecture students and villagers worked to map the area, establish vegetation buffers around the rivers, and build small sanitation projects, including jetties for collecting fresh water, three types of pit toilet, a shower block, and a communal laundry.
